Chambres Intimes brought together the work of Angélique de Limburg and Philippe d’Orléans, cousins and friends, at The Bridge Gallery in Paris.

Angélique’s paintings explore intimacy through suspended moments unfolding in the privacy of bedrooms. Inspired by sleeping friends, old photographs and vintage films, her works move between what is revealed and what remains hidden. Conceived as passages into a dreamlike state, they celebrate sensuality, tenderness and the richness of human connection.

In dialogue with Philippe’s work, the exhibition revealed unexpected resonances between their distinct artistic worlds.
